Dr. Salomon is a distinguished physician and professor who has made significant contributions to the field of fetal medicine and surgery, as well as in the application of imaging technologies in pregnancy.

SAB Spotlight: Dr. Laurent Salomon, Shaping the Future of Fetal Medicine and Imaging

ScieNFT is proud to introduce Dr. Laurent Salomon, a member of our Scientific Advisory Board. Dr. Salomon is a distinguished physician and professor who has made significant contributions to the field of fetal medicine and surgery, as well as in the application of imaging technologies in pregnancy. He is currently a senior consultant in the Department of Obstetrics and Fetal Medicine at @Necker-Enfants-Malades Hospital and a full professor at Paris Descartes University.

With a PhD in Physics, Dr. Salomon has applied his knowledge to the development of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Functional Imaging of the placenta. He has also completed a Master's Degree in Medical Statistic at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

Dr. Salomon has co-authored more than 250 papers in peer-reviewed literature, as well as several textbooks. He is a Board member of the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ISUOG), and has chaired its Scientific Committee, and is now President-Elect of the Society. Additionally, he serves on the Editorial Board of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (UOG).

Dr. Salomon is also an associate director of the Master's Degree in Prenatal Diagnosis and Fetal Medicine at Paris Descartes University. He is involved in various committees and task forces and regularly serves as an expert for different Health Authorities, as well as international research projects.
In addition to his academic and research pursuits, Dr. Salomon co-founded the LUMIERE Foundation, a charity dedicated to improving pregnancy outcomes through better knowledge and approach to prenatal life. He also co-directs the first imaging research platform, LUMIERE, based at the University of Paris. We are honored to have the opportunity to work with Dr. Salomon, and are excited to be building our platform together.
